Part 1 of my dad's wedding...

 

 

 

 

What a DAY!! August 8, 2008 at Magnolia Plantation House in Gulfport Mississippi
My Dad got Married to Rose. They met after my mom passed away. They dated for about 7 months and the wedding was planned within 2 months. It was a really nice ceremony that very close family and friends shared. A couple tears shed and some very sweet words said. The weather was beautiful and the wedding was held at 8:00pm.
The day started out crazy for us. Daniel and I took two different cars because the kids and I were staying over night in a room next to my dad and Daniel had to go to work Saturday morning. Well, about half way there, I realized that we forgot Ellie's dress at the dry cleaners in Slidell. So..Danny had to drive back to get it. He arrived to the Plantation and about one hour later we realized that my suitcase was at our house in Slidell. He had to drive about 45 minutes home and 45 minutes back. Which left me little time to get a shower and get ready. It was a close call. I was the photographer for the wedding. Some of the lighting was not how I would have liked, so all the pictures are not to my 100% satisfaction but I did my best. Here are a couple. Gabe and Ellie walked in the wedding. They did a great job and looked adorable. I will add more pictures as soon as I can..Enjoy..:)

Here are some pictures that I took today of Ellie and Gabe. Gabe and Ellie will be walking in my Dad's wedding tomorrow. I wanted to try on Gabe's suit to make sure it fits him and he looked so darn cute..I had to get some practice shots for tomorrow. I also had to get some updated pictures of Ellie because she is missing some teeth. I think I wrote about her visit to the hospital a couple months ago..she fell at Target and knocked some teeth loose. Well, she fell again several times and the poor teeth didn't have a chance of staying in. Well to make a long story, she is missing three teeth. One up top and two bottom teeth. The good thing is that they are only baby teeth and also the two teeth that are missing below are already growing back (her adult teeth) Wow!! I am kinda glad because it is hard for her to bite food (corn on the cobb). Well, that is it for now. I will post more pictures after my dad's wedding. What an exciting day that will be!

Happy Birthday Momma!!

Today my mom would have been 55! Today is a day that I can't forget! I still wish everyday that she was here and I could call her to talk about everything that is going on in our lives. I miss her so very very very very much! It has been one year and 2 months since she passed away from an aneurism. I just thought I would post a picture and a little note to just say...I love you mom! Happy Birthday!! I am sure you are happy in heaven with your mom and dad and I will see you again one day!!

Ellie and John 3:16

Oh my goodness..my little girl is getting so big. She is so smart and she amazes me every single day. There is NOTHING she can't remember and do!!!
I started reading the bible to her and we read John 3:16 and we went over it a couple times and then again today. Well..when danny got home I had her say it on this video clip...So Awesome!! I am so proud of her.
I got the idea from a clip I saw on Godtube :)
What better things for our children to memorize than Bible verses!!! :)
I will try even more and also with Gabe. He is trying already!!

Psalms Chapter 23

What a week..:(

We have been pretty busy lately. We have had an open house and an agent tour within the past two weeks. They went pretty well but NO offers yet. Gabe and Ellie started with the flu (throwing up) virus last Tuesday. I was hoping that it was just a one day thing but that was wishful thinking. Ellie also ended up with a chest cold and needed an antibiotic shot and breathing treatment every four hours. Gabe on the other hand could not stop throwing up and continued to do so for more than 10 days. I was very concerned and first the nurse told me to just watch his diet and keep him hydrated. I tried that and it didn't work. We also gave him suppositories to see if that would help but all it did was make him constipated. He was still throwing up and on top of it he started with a bad tight chest cough. I took him to the Doctor AGAIN and finally they told me to take him to get chest x-rays and that is when we found out he had pneumonia!!! Just great!! We had to take him back to the doctor to get a shot in his leg of antibiotics. He is finally getting better. His cough has nearly stopped and no more throwing up. We are still giving him some breathing treatments to make sure this goes away. I am so glad we found that when we did. I can't imagine something happening to my little man. I just kept kissing him last night and holding his cute little hand. He is getting so big.

We are just hanging out now and making sure everyone is well.
My dad is off to idaho to do a Vacation Bible school there and will be back next week and then on the 8th of August is his wedding. I just ordered Gabe a cute little suit because he is in the wedding. He is going to be so adorable. If you ever need cute little dresses or suits for your little ones..check out this website at
