Something to listen to...

Verse 1:
Wake up to the sunlight
With your windows open
Don't hold in your anger or leave things unspoken
Wear your red dress
Use your good dishes
Make a big mess and make lots of wishes
Have what you want
But want what you have
And don't spend your life lookin' back

Chorus:
Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
You won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
Cuz it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

Verse 2:
So go to the ballgames
And go to the ballet
And go see your folks more than just on the holidays
Kiss all your children
Dance with your wife
Tell your husband you love him every night
Don't run from the truth
'Cause you can't get away
Just face it and you'll be okay

Chorus:
Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
[How You Live lyrics on http://www.metrolyrics.com]

Take a few chances
Let it all out
You won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

Bridge:
Oh wherever you are and wherever you've been
Now is the time to begin

Verse 3:
So give to the needy
And pray for the grieving
E'en when you don't think that you can
'Cause all that you do is bound to come back to you
So think of your fellow man
Make peace with God and make peace with yourself
'Cause in the end there's nobody else

Chorus
Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
'Cause you won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

A Day with Rachel and my camera..

I went to pick up Rachel last night and she is going to spend some time with me for and a couple days. I am so glad we are able to do this. She has been in college and she's on break right now during the holidays. I have been wanting to do a session of photos with her and we finally found the time. I am glad we did them today because I think it might rain tomorrow..

Before and After the Attack of Ellie and the sissors....

Well...Ellie decided to get the scissors and play "let's cut Gabe's hair". She was so proud. Gabe came to me and he was all happy and he told me "ellie hair". I looked at him and knew immediately that something happened to his hair. I yelled at Ellie to "come here" and she came all proud and smiled. She told me that she made Gabe look "fresh". I wanted to be really mad, but all I could do was laugh. I tried really hard to discipline Ellie and make sure that she knows how dangerous it was to cut anyone's hair. I hope that never happens again and I am so thankful that she didn't cut her long hair. Thank God hair grows back. Poor Gabe.
I took him to Family cuts to get his hair fixed, but there was not much they could do. I included some pictures below so you can see the before and after pictures.

Love to all...

Gabe turns 2!!!!

My little man turns 2 today! I can't believe it. We didn't plan a party because we have had so much going on. I think we might just eat cake at my dad's house after church tomorrow.
I just can't believe how fast he has grown and how much time has just flown by right before my eyes.
Gabe is so amazing and so independent. He dances (shakes his booty, does a horsey dance galloping around house, pats his head and rubs his belly, repeats everything ellie tells him to say, says..mommy hold me all the time, loves peek a boo "boo boo" he says... and loves when daddy comes home from work. He gives the best hugs all the time, loves motorbikes, trucks, and balls and outside of course. He is all BOY!
He loves playing with Ellie and loves when she chases him around the house. He just puts a smile on my face all the time. He uses his manners, please and thank you and open candy please..:) So sweet!
Well,I will add some pictures so you can see all the changes he has made in the past two years.
I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Happy Birthday my little man! I love you so much! My cup runneth over!
