What a fantastic day it was!! Sophia and her two cousin's celebrated their birthday together at Angie's house. Cinderella even came to visit! Everyone had such a wonderful time.
The kids got to get their faces painted, make crowns, put on fancy dresses and dance with Cinderella. After that, we all ate lunch and ate Yummy cake! Here are some pictures to see all the fun!

Times like this...
I am writing today with a sad heart. The economy is bad all over and times are tough at our home. I have never experienced situations like I am facing now. I am praying for God to help us and I have seen him work in our lives and finances over the past couple years. I know he is always working whether we see it or not and I know that we must go to him and pray in order for him to help us. I know there is a reason for everything as well. I don't understand it all but I know I will one day look back at these times and say.."OH..I get it" but right now is a very hard time for me/us. I had to call Ellie and Gabe's school (preschool) and take them out of the program (2 day per week) because we can't afford it. It really broke my heart to do that. It just really stinks. I have been trying to figure out a way to make it and justify it in our budget and I just can't do it anymore. I have always worked and had the opportunity to do the things that I needed to do and get the things that I needed as well and for the first time in my life as an adult, I can't! It is very hard in these times. I know there are alot of other families that are facing the same things and some much worse. I hate complaining about these things but this is my life right now and I wanted to write about it to share with others that they are not alone. I also wanted to mark it so I could look back on it and hopefully understand it all someday. Times like these are times where we can stick together and work through it and become stronger. That is a positive thing! :)
It is also a time where God teaches us to have Faith and rely on him. That is what he is doing for me right now.
Well..Please keep us in your prayers!
Love,
Lizzy

"Hey Mommy, chuck e chesse says it's where a kid can be a kid, so we need to go, okay mommy". She is so funny!

Time to rest..
When Ellie and Gabe get tired during the day (when we are home) they find somewhere comfortable and go to sleep together.
It is so sweet!
Just wanted to share!

Ellie and Gabe's Valentine's Day Picture
Hello All...
Here are some pictures that I took of the kids yesterday. I told Ellie I would do this and she has been begging me ever since. She had a million and one ideas of all the poses she wanted to do. We got outside a little later than I wanted so the lighting is not that great.
This week in a nutshell...
Ellie turned 5 on February 3rd! Her birthday was Tuesday and Daniel took that day off of work. I made special cupcakes for Ellie since she is allergic to the following: eggs, yeast, beans, peas, peanuts. I found a special brand called: Cherry Brook Kitchen. Thank God for them! I found it at Rouses in the organic section. They actually taste really good too. Daniel and I brought the cupcakes to Ellie's school and suprised her in her class. We sang Happy Birthday to her and then we left. We picked her up at 2:45 and we came home for a little while. She was really tired and we noticed Gabe was too. We met Poppa, Mrs. Rose, Mimi, Uncle Mike (my brother), Aunt Jamie, Corey and Jesse at Picadilly for Dinner. I made another special cake for Ellie to share with the family. We had a great time and Ellie got to open her presents.
My Dad and Mrs. Rose got her a little kitchen to go in her room. She LOVES it! It is so cute!
Well..we noticed that Gabe wasn't feeling well. He was complaining his head hurt. On our way home, he threw up all over himself in his carseat. I took him to the Doctor the next morning because he started running a fever of 104.4!!!!!!
The doctor was really concerned because he was already on antibiotics for a runny nose. They tested him for Strep and also the Flu but they both came back negative. They sent us to get x-rays and Gabe has PNEUMONIA!
They had to give him shots of antibiotics in his legs. :( But Thank God he is starting to feel better now!
He still has a runny nose and we are still doing breathing treatments.
Well, now Ellie is sick with a bad cough so the Doctor put her on antibiotics and breathing treatments!
I am ready for my poor babies to get better!
More pics to come...
Love to all,
Lizzy

Ellie turns 5!
On February 3, 2004 Ellie Gray was born and my whole life changed. She is so amazing! I am so glad that God sent her to me and blessed my life. She is a demanding, funny, sweet, caring, sassy little girl. She is 5 years old now! I love her with all my heart! It is so much fun watching her grow and then also so sad because she is not my little baby girl anymore. She will be in Kindergarden this year for goodness sake! Wow!
Happy Birthday Ellie!
