Hanging out with Poppa

Here are some pictures of the kids with my dad or should I say...Poppa!
They had a blast.
Mimi had fun too! It was such a nice day!

Here are the kids playing with the laundry basket. My dad came over to visit with Mimi on Monday. We had so much fun. We picked up Ellie from school, went to Sam's, ate at Bayou Country and we went to the park!
We had a lot of fun. We also bought a little blow up pool for the kids to play in. It was a nice visit with POPPA!

Hilarious

This past weekend after church, Danny was washing his car and he used the blower to dry the car. Well...the kids got a kick out of him putting the blower on them. This was so much fun to watch. :)

Mom, Now That I'm a Mother,

and all the job demands.
I know how hard it is to feel

This Poem is something that I came across in a magazine recently and the first thought was.. "I wish I could get this for my mom".
MOMMA...I know you are in heaven, but I still think about you each day. I am so thankful for every day we had together. I am so blessed to have called you mom. There are so many things I wish I could tell you. All the things you taught me and I want to tell you "YOU ARE RIGHT". I know I have many more things to learn. I still have alot of questions about things...How do I make a yeast free bread for Ellie?? I know I should be celebrating that you are in heaven now, but it is so hard without you here with me. I guess I am just selfish when it comes to that. I also know that the time here on earth is only for a short while...and I will one day, hold your hand again! I can't wait for that! I miss you so much mom and I Love you with all my heart...my cup runneth over!

A Day at the park

We met Nikki at the park this past week and let the kids play. They had a blast and we were blessed with beautiful weather. It was so nice hanging out with her and just talking to an adult for a change. The kids cried when we left. We will do it again in the near future. I Love Play Dates!!

Today started out with really bad weather, but as the day went on, the sun came out and it turned out to be a Beautiful Day!

Gabe's Big Boy Bed

Here is a picture of Gabe in his big boy bed. He is so proud of it! He sleeps in it all night! My little man is growing up. I can't believe how fast 2 years go by. I am so happy he is growing up because we can do more things together but then I am so sad that he is getting older. I know that there will come a time where I will have to watch him fly out of his nest into the real world all by himself and I will be so SAD! I know the pain my mom felt when I left her house! It was a happy moment but so sad at the same time! Treasure every moment we have now because it flies by!!!
